Already a lindy hopper, or recently completed our beginners’ course? Then our regular Wednesday night Intermediates Lindy Hop drop-in class is for you.

When? Every Wednesday (except the last Wednesday of the month when we run a social dance)

Where? The New Park Centre, New Park Road, Chichester (Jubilee Hall)

Time? 8.15pm-9.45pm

Cost? £10 drop-in price, or buy a class saver card for £40 for x5 sessions use whenever you attend, no expiry date, you can pay in advance or we can accept cash or card on the door

Hollywood Style Course

This summer, join us for our first-ever course dedicated to Hollywood Style Lindy Hop.

Stylistically distinct from the circular Savoy style of the East Coast, Hollywood Style is known for its sleek lines, dramatic swivels, and rhythmic precision. It captures the “Dean Collins and Jewel McGowan” aesthetic that defined 1940s cinema—ideal for dancers who love a blend of smooth technicality and show-stopping flair.

In this dedicated block for intermediate hoppers, you will master:

Stylised Footwork & Technique: Adapting your basics for a linear look, focusing on the essential counterbalance and “stretch” that creates the style’s unique momentum.

The Whip: The iconic, slotted Hollywood alternative to the swing out.

Signature Moves: Including the high-energy Quick Stop and stylised Switches.

Elevate your dancing with the precision and elegance of the West Coast style.

Dates: Wednesday 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd July, 7pm-8pm
