About us

Hello! Welcome to Chichester Lindy Hoppers. We’re Mark and Ellie, two South Coast based dancers passionate about lindy hop and solo jazz. Mark has been dancing for over 20 years, having originally learnt in his 16 years living in California. Ellie learnt to dance from the amazing teachers on the South Coast from and from international teachers at dance camps across the UK, and Montpellier, France. We believe lindy hop and solo jazz is for everyone, every age, every ability and every style – and we’d love to welcome you into our inclusive bunch here in Chichester!

We’re also supported by a host of local teachers including Gary Tewkesbury, Sue Knight and Grace Ashby, who alongside aiding classes, also provide tunes for our social nights.
